Something simple and elegant. I like this design so much but I do not like the polish I've used for it. Maybe I will have to recreate using my vampy colors. Algo muy simple y elegante. I used "Pink Sugar" from the Color Craze Extreme Shine Gel Polish by L.A. Colors Cosmetics. When I saw this on the catalog it looked so different than this. This is a salmon pink sheer shade with pink flakies. This does not cover completely the nail unless you have short nails. I did here 3 coats and sponged on the tip of the nail to cover the white edge, still not enough. I guess it would work better as a topper. I personally don't like this color, it does not suit my skin tone. But maybe there are some people that might like it. And now you see the color cap.. not my favorite at all. Use "Pink Sugar" de L.A. Es un esmalte con escarchita rosada en una base semi transparente en tono rosa salmon. Este no cubre completamente la uña a menos que las tengan cortas. Yo le di 3 capas y use una esponja para aplicar en la punta de la uña para cubrir la parte blanca, aun asi no fue suficiente. Creo que este seria mejor como un 'topper' (usarlo sobre algun otro color). Personalmente no me gusta este color, no le va a mi tono de piel. Pero seguramente habra alguien mas que le guste. Y ahora la tapa... No es mi favorita.

The studs are from Sally Hansen. I also used white nail art tape from a local store.
To seal all I used the topcoat "Frosting" from this Extreme Shine Gel collection (not shown). I forgot it has a name on it xD.. I did not take that many pictures because I had a hard time trying to get good quality pictures. Los botonsitos dorados son de Sally Hansen. Tambien usa cinta delgada en color blanco. Estas son especiales para las uñas y las consegui en una tienda local. Para sellar todo use el topcoat "Frosting" de esta coleccion Extreme Shine Gel (sin foto). No tome tantas fotos como quisiera y es porque tuve un mal rato tratando de tomar fotos de buena calidad.

First of all the base color is "Tempt" from the "Color Craze Extreme Shine Gel Polish" collection by L.A. Colors This color is amazingly gooooorgeousss.. Dark navy blue always a classic. Formula was a little thick and jelly like, very pigmented I just used 2 easy coats. These are extremely shiny, it was easy to work with, blends perfectly, all good. As I said in my previous review the brush is too wide makes it a little harder to get close to the cuticle. I still like the blue cap.. looks pretty. The only bad thing about this polish is that it stains, stains really really bad!.. Primero que todo mi color base es "Tempt" de la coleccion "Color Craze Extreme Shine Gel Polish" de L.A. Colors Este color es bellisimo.. Un azul naval oscuro siempre es un clasico. Su formula es un tanto espesa, muy pigmentada y necesita 2 capas para cubrir la uña. Es super brillante, facil de trabajar, todo bien. Como dije en mi revision previa la brocha es muy ancha lo que lo hace dificil llegar cerca de la cuticula. Todavia me gusta la tapa azul.. se ve bien. Lo malo de este esmalte es que mancha, mancha demasiado!..
I only applied topcoat on my index and pinkie since I was using a textured polish for the grid. Solo aplique topcoat en mi indice y meñique ya que use un esmalte texturado para las cuadriculas.
To create the grids I used this stencil from Snail Vinyls www.snailvinyls.com I first tried it on my thumb as I said I was just practicing and testing out the vinyl but I was incredibly amazed with the result.. I like to use vinyls with a textured polish specially if I have to paint with the brush over it, I think the result is better than a regular polish. And in case I use a regular polish, I like to use the sponge method... Recently I received some nail polishes from L.A. Colors. These is the "Color Craze Extreme Shine Gel Polish" collection. These were sent to me as a sample pack, which means I got them for free in exchange for a service, I show the polish and talk about it in general like color, formula, consistency, coats needed, staining and so on.. I also share my personal thoughts about them. I was able to choose the colors I wanted.
Recientemente recibí unos esmaltes de L.A. Colors. Esta es la coleccion "Color Craze Extreme Shine Gel Polish". Estos me fueron enviados como paquete de muestra, lo que quiere decir que los recibi gratis a cambio de un servicio, yo muestro el esmalte y hablo sobre este en general como el color, formula, consistencia, capas que necesita, si mancha y asi... Tambien comparto mi opinion personal sobre estos. Tuve la opción de elegir los colores que yo quise.
So the first one is "Dazzling" This is a shimmery gray polish. Although that sparkle is a hard to capture. It's a 'gel like' polish that means it does not need a UV lamp, it has a almost jelly like and thick formula which was a little hard for me to get used to it. It needs from 2 to 3 coats to get fully opaque depending on how thick you apply your coats. The way to apply them I recommend using a regular coat, not to thick or it will run to the sides of the nail, not to thin or you will need more coats to get it fully opaque. The first coat was a little bit sheer but it started to build up after the second. Here I did 3 easy coats because my nails are too long so the white part was not completely opaque. Drying time was great.
El primero es "Dazzling" Este es un esmalte gris escarchado. Aunque esa escarcha sea dificil de capturar. Es un esmalte tipo gel eso quiere decir que no necesita curar en lampara UV, tiene una formula un poco espesa lo cual fue un poco dificil acostumbrarme a esta. Se necesita de 2 a 3 capas para ser totalmente opaco dependiendo que tanta cantidad uses para pintar. La forma de aplicar les recomiendo usar una capa regular, ni muy gruesa ni muy fina. Aqui yo le di 3 capas ya que mis uñas son muy largas asi que la parte blanca no estaba completamente cubierta. Tiempo de secado muy bueno.
Next up is "Dare Devil" Is a dark pure purple shade. If you know me enough you know how much I loooove purple shade and this one is perfection. Its formula is also thick and jelly like. When I first applied it I did very thin coats and it was my mistake because I ended up needing like 4 coats.. But then I tried it again and I just needed 2 regular coats. Same as previous the coats cannot be to thick nor too thin. It takes like a few tries to get used to it and right amount of polish in the brush. This did not stain my nails not my cuticles, it was so easy to remove and clean up. El siguiente es "Dare Devil" Es un color purpura oscuro. Si me conoces lo suficiente saben cuanto me encanta el morado y este de aqui es perfecto. Su formula tambien es algo espesa. Cuando lo use por primera vez yo use capas muy delgadas y fue mi error porque termine usando como 4 capas.. Pero luego lo intente de nuevo y solo necesite 2 capas regulares. Igual que el anterior las capas no pueden ser muy delgadas o muy gruesas. Despues de unos cuantos intentos ya te acostumbras y sabes la cantidad que se necesita en la brocha. Este no mancho mis uñas ni las cuticulas, fue muy facil de remover y de limpiar.
And this collection also has a topcoat. This also has a thick formula but it dries really fast and it did not smear or smudged my design at all, super shiny finish. This topcoat gets a 9/10 .. -1 for the thick formula but it is really great. If you wonder how long these last on the nails.. Well if you know or don't I can't stand the same manicure for more than 2 days. But this time I did a big sacrifice and lasted 3 days .. haha sorry that's all. And I did not have any chipping at all. These are pretty awesome. Esta coleccion tambien tiene su topcoat. Tambien tiene una formula un poco espesa pero seca muy rapido y no arruino mi diseño en lo absoluto y tiene un acabado muy brillante. Este se lleva un 9/10 .. -1 por la fomula espesa pero es muy bueno. Si se preguntan cuanto duran estos esmaltes.. bueno si saben o no yo no puedo aguantar el mismo diseño por mas de 2 dias. Pero hice un gran sacrificio y se quedaron por 3 dias .. jaja lo siento eso es todo. Y estas no se dañaron en las puntas ni nada por el estilo. Eso es muy bueno.
For the splatter I used a straw, added some polish on the tip of it and blow over the nail. This is art for lazy people because no professional tools is needed. And none of the nails will be like the other, perfect abstract art!.
Para hacer las salpicaduras use un pitillo, popote, carrizo (como lo llamen en su pais), solo tienen que poner un poco de esmalte de un lado y soplar sobre la uña por el otro. Esto es arte para los flojos porque no necesita ninguna herramienta profesional. Y ninguna uña saldra igual a la otra, perfecto arte abstracto.

I really don't know if you are able to see but there a little bit of the shimmer of the gray polish. No se si se puede ver bien pero ahi un poco de la escarcha del esmalte gris.
What I dislike about these are the caps and the brush. The cap has the same color as the polishes, well I do like the gray and the purple one but just wait to see the others.. I would have rather to have them the same color, maybe in silver like the topcoat cap. It would have a better looking. The brush is way too wide which is harder to get closer to the cuticle without having to paint them, and see my nails are too curved. And we want to minimize the clean up. I do like the flat brush but this one is too much. Lo que no me gusta de estos son las tapas y la brocha. Las tapas tienen el mismo color del esmalte, bueno el gris y el morado se ven bien pero esperen a ver los otros. Creo que preferiría que todas las tapas fueran del mismo color, tal vez en plateado como la del topcoat, tal vez se vería mejor. La brocha es demasiado ancha lo que lo hace mas dificil llegar a los bordes sin tener que pintar las cuticulas y mis uñas son muy curvas. Y queremos minimizar la limpieza. Si me gustan las brochas planas pero esta es exagerada.

The first one I have to show you is this one called "Mystery". It is a dark purple base with gold flakies. I love purple and I love gold flakes, but not a fan of these both together.. This formula is really great, it covers in 2 easy coats, smooth, easy to apply .. It is great. What I found different is the cap, I kinda like it but... In the picture I thought it was like the same material of the regular black cap but in a silver color, this one is like metallic cap, and I live in a humid country which makes me think that these are going to rust. I hope not! Lo primero que tengo para mostrarle es "Mystery" Es un esmalte de color morado oscuro con 'flakes' escarcha dorada. Me encanta el morado, me gustan estas escarchas doradas, pero no soy fan de estos 2 juntos.. Su formula es genial, cubre con 2 pasadas, facil de aplicar.. es muy buena. Lo diferente es la tapa, como que me gusta pero... En la foto yo crei que era como el material de la tapa negra regular pero en color plateado, esta de aqui es como metalica, y yo vivo en un pais con mucha humedad lo que me hace pensar que estas se van a oxidar. Espero que no!
To create the wavy negative space I used wavy vinyls from Snail Vinyls I just placed them on the nail, painted over it and removed, super easy... On my accent nail I used 2 coats of this sheer white base as you can see I did a little different crating a gradient. En mi uña de acento use 2 capas de este esmalte blanco transparente, como pueden ver lo hice diferente creando un degrade.
The butterfly charm is from Daily Charme www.dailycharme.com And looking at it on the picture above I realized that I placed it upside down xD.. So this hand position is the correct for the butterfly. La mariposa es de Daily Charme www.dailycharme.com Y mirando la foto de arriba me di cuenta que la puse al revés xD.. Asi que colocando la mano hacia arriba es la correcta para la mariposa.
All the charms from Daily Charme have this curved back. This is perfect because it is meant to fit the natural curved surface of the nail. Todos los adornos de Daily Charme tienen una forma curva. Esto es perfecto ya que esta hecho especificamente para ajustarse a la curva natural de la uña.
To complement I used some gold pearls.. Para complementar puse unas cuantas perlas doradas.
I wanted to try out the topcoat of this collection.. I don't know if it is because i used it for the first time and I'm not used to it yet but i did not like it. It smudged my design, does not look super shiny over this polish, i don't know how it would look over other polishes, and it made the tip of one of my nails matte. Quise probar el topcoat de esta coleccion.. No se si es porque es la primera vez que lo uso y no estoy acostumbrada a este pero no me gusto. Este arruino mi diseño, el esmalte se embarro un poco, no se ve muy brillante sobre este esmalte, no se como se vera en otros esmaltes, e hizo que la punta de mi uña sea mate.
Can you see that there is a difference? I hate when this happens. Pueden ver que hay una diferencia? Odio cuando esto pasa.

It has been a while since I did a free hand art .. I guess I am not having too much time for these and a lot to swatch and review.. So taking a break from my 'work' to do something different. "Aquarelle Effect"
I am really obsessed with this color, and in matte finish looks even better. Although camera does not make justice to it :/ .. I know this might also be a 'cliche' but seriously, still one of the best combos ever!
