31 Day Challenge - Day 6: Violet Nails

I knew I was going to be late with this challenge, but I didn't know it would take me that long.. 
And the reason is that I have been uninspired lately.. Suddenly my mind is totally blocked for any new ideas. 
After 3 failed attempts, here is my day 6: Violet nails




Sabia que me iba a demorar con este reto, pero no pensé que me llevaría tanto..
Y la razón es que ando sin inspiración... De repente mi mente esta totalmente bloqueada para nuevas ideas.
Y después de 3 intentos fallidos, aquí esta mi día 6: uñas color violeta. 

The base color is "O Suzi Mio" by OPI. 
Ok, I know this isn't 100% violet but it is family of the purple and that's what counts, right? 
Anyways.. 
This formula, I can't tell if it was because the polish is new or I am becoming bad at painting my nails, but I needed 3 coats to get it opaque.
2 thin coats and a third thick coat. 
When I added the second coat, it pushed the the polish of the first layer and left some light spots.. ( do you get what I mea) 
To cover it I added a third thick coat to get it opaque with a smooth finish. 




El color base es "O Suzi Mio" de OPI.
Ok, yo se que esto no es 100% violeta pero esta en la misma familia y es lo que cuenta, verdad? 
Como sea..
Esta formula, no puedo decirles si era porque el esmalte es nuevo o yo me estoy volviendo mala al pintarme las uñas, pero necesite 3 capas para cubrirlo completamente.
2 ligeras y una capa gruesa.
Cuando me pinte la segunda capa, esta empujo el esmalte de la primera dejando unos espacios mas claros (entienden lo que digo?)
Para cubrirlos tuve que añadir una tercera capa gruesa para que este totalmente opaco y con un acabado liso. 

On my ring and pinkie nails I used "Mostarda Atomica" by Esmaltes Colorama. 
This is a brazilian brand. 
Is a shimmery mustard yellow.. 
The color is so pretty but the formula too sheer. 
I did 3 coats and it wasn't 100% opaque. 




En las uñas anular y meñique use "Mostarda Atomica" de Esmaltes Colorama.
Esta es una marca brasileña. 
Es un esmalte amarillo mostaza con un poco de brillo.
Su formula es un tanto transparente pero su color es muy lindo.
Use 3 capas pero no es 100% opaco. 

To create the design I used 'Single Chevron' and 'Aztec' nail vinyls from Snail Vinyls 
I used the out part of the vinyl instead of the inner part or each chevron. 
Also with the help of my Miracle Mat from My Bliss Kiss to create the decals..
And this is how my miracle mat looks like when I work on it. (pic below) 




Para crear el diseño use "Single Chevron" y "Aztec" vinyls de Snail Vinyls 
Use la parte externa de la plantilla en lugar de la interna o individual. 
Tambien me ayude de mi Miracle Mat de My Bliss Kiss para hacer 'decals'.. 
Y asi es como se ve el miracle mat cuando lo uso.. (foto abajo) 

All i had to do is wait for it to dry and peel each decal then stick it to the nail. 
The miracle mat can be cleaned with acetone / nail polish remover..
Or you just wait for the polish to dry and peel them from the mat. That is what I do and any residue left I use nail polish remover to clean it. 



Todo lo que tuve que hacer fue esperar que secara luego quitarlos y pegarlo en la uña. 
El miracle mat se limpia fácilmente con acetona / removedor de esmalte.. 
O solo espera que el esmalte seque y los despego. Eso es lo que yo hago y si queda algún residuo lo limpio con el removedor de esmalte para limpiarlo. 

On my ring finger nail.. 
Since i had the mustard base color and I didn't know what to do..
I cut the vinyl (using the out part) trying to get the 'stairs' in the upper part and painted the nail with the purple color.. 



En la uña anular.. 
Ya que tenia la base mostaza y no sabia que hacer..
Corte la plantilla (usando la parte de afuera) para que tenga las 'escaleras' hacia arriba y pinte con el esmalte purpura..

Also used Swarovski Crystals from Daily Charme 
This one is color "Volcano" 
It's color is purple and shifts to orange, golden yellow, light green and light blue.
Simply gorgeous.. 
And matches perfectly with my color combo :)




También use Cristales de Swarovski de Daily Charme 
Este es en color "Volcano" 
Su color es purpura y cambia a naranja, amarillo dorado, verde claro y azul claro.
Simplemente hermoso. 
Y combina a la perfección con mi elección de colores :)
