Lightning nails inspired - "Centella" Vogue Fantastic Efecto Tornasol

"Centella" by Vogue Fantastic is a duo chrome polish.Is a green base shade that switches to a metalic orange color, depending on its angle of view.


"Centella" de Vogue Fantastic es un esmalte tornasol. Su color base es verde que cambia a un tono naranja metalico dependiendo de su angulo de vista.

It was really hard to capture with a camera, but is really gorgeous in person. This picture shown with drops of water is for a better look of its color. 


Este fue algo dificil de capturar con la camara, pero es en verdad muy bello en persona. Esta foto con gotas de agua es para mostrar mejor el color.

And as you can see here the color looks much different due to the lightbox. The color is not shown as it is, but can be seen how the color changes when my fingers are in diferent angles.

Y como pueden ver el color se ve muy diferente debido a la caja de luz. El color no se muestra como es, pero se puede ver como cambia con los diferentes angulos.

Its formula is really amazing, esay to apply, dries fast, no brush stroke seen and it blends perfectly. Full opacity with 2 coats. Here I used 3 thin coats plus topcoat.

Su formula es maravillosa, facil de aplicar, secado rapido, sin marcas de brochas y se mezcla a la perfeccion. Opaco con 2 capas. Aqui yo uso 3 capas ligeras mas brillo protector.

As my accent nail, I decided to do a lightning inspired by the name of this polish.

Y como uña de acento, decidi hacer un rayo inspirado en el nombre de este esmalte.

For this design, I used a make up sponge and differnt shades of polishes and a thin art brush. 

"Centella" as my base. 
"Neptuno"  is a navy blue.
"Azul Indigo" is a blue shimmer.
These 3 mentioned by Vogue Fantastic.
"Energy Source" (white) by L.A. Colors
A dark shimmer purple polish (no name)
Fast dry topcoat by Masglo.

Para este diseño use una esponja de maquillaje, diferentes esmaltes y una brocha fina.

"Centella" color base.
"Neptuno" un tono azul naval.
"Azul Indigo" es un azul escarchado
Estos 3 mencionados de Vogue Fantastic.

Un esmalte morado escuro escarchado (sin nombre).

Amazon Parrot Nails Inspired

I had the opportunity to do a twin nail with a very sweet girl Narmai from PiggieLuv also known as @narmai .. I own a fronted yellow amazon parrot called Luna and she owns a blue fronted called Bartje ... of course we had to do it...

We got the inspiration from Birdorable.com .. Our idea was to create a parrot theme nails and I really loved how we worked together. We had the same idea in the design, with the bubble speech and the feathers without mentioning it.. How amazing was that.

We used real feathers from our parrot.. Of course we did not ripped them xD.. I found mine on the floor.
On the little bubble speach, we wrote what our parrots say the most. Mine likes to say MIAW
when she wants some attention. 

My little birdie was free hand made with nail polish and a thin art brush.. It was a challenge for me to do this because it was the first time I draw a little parrot in such a little canvas.

Bubble speach was made with a dotting tool, outlined and written with a thin art brush also with nail polish.

The little feather as mentioned before is from my parrot.

"Sensual" by Vogue Fantastic Coleccion 'Dulce Tentacion' / Abstract Roses Nails

"Sensual" By Vogue Fantastic is a jelly purple polish from the collection " Dulce Tentacion "  (meaning 'sweet temptation')

"Sensual" De Vogue Fantastic es un esmalte de concistencia tipo gelatina de la coleccion "Dulce Tentacion"

As many jelly polish, this one was very tricky and uneven to apply at the first and maybe the second coat. But it gets smooth and even at the third coat. Its so shiny it does not need a topcoat.
Here I am using 3 thin coats and no topcoat.



Como muchos esmaltes de este tipo de concistencia es algo tramposo de aplicar, no es parejo en la primera ni en la segunda capa.
Pero con una tercera capa queda con un acabado limpio y parejo. Brilloso y no necesita brillo protector.
Aqui estoy usando 3 capas ligeras. 

As accent nails I did some abstract roses and polka dots. These roses are just simple random curved lines made with a thin art brush, and to get that sheer concistance I mixed 3 colors: "Sensual" (same as the base), "In a lily bit" (by China Glaze) and white "Energy Source" (by L.A. Colors).

Como uñas de acento hice unas rosas abstractas y puntos. Estas rosas no son mas que lineas curvas al azar hechas con un pincel delgado, y para tener esta apariencia semi transparente mezcle 3 colores: "Sensual" (el mismo color de base), "In a lily bit" (de China Glaze) y blanco "Energy Source" (de L.A. Colors).
Los puntos fueron hechos con una herramienta de punto usando esmalte "In a Lily Bit" de China Glaze.

"Crepusculo" Vogue Fantastic Efecto Tornasol / Palm Trees Nails Inspired

"Crepusculo" (twilight)  By Vogue Fantastic is a duo chrome polish with macro shimmer. It is a metalic pink base that turns to a goldish tone depending on its angle of view.

"Crepusculo" de Vogue Fantastic es un esmalte tornasol con brillo. Su base es un tono rosa metalico que cambia a un tono dorado dependiendo de su angulo de vista.

Its formula is really amazing. Smooth and very easy to apply. No brush strokes seen, blends perfectly, it is so shiny and fats drying. Full opacity in three easy thin coats. 

What made me chose this design for this chrome polish was its name... What a best sunset scene than palm trees in the beach.

Su formula es maravillosa. Muy facil de aplicar, no se ven marcas de la brocha, se mezcla perfecto, es brillante y secado rapido. Opaco en tres capas ligeras.  

Lo que me hizo elegir este diseño para este efecto tornasol fue su nombre. Que mejor escena para un atardecer que unas palmeras en la playa. 

This one was very hard to capture whether it was with direct or indirect sunlight shot.

Este fue un poco dificil de capturar ya fuera con luz directa o indirecta.

Sapphire by KLEANCOLOR

"Sapphire" By KleanColor is a dark blue base color with blue glitter that can be seen with direct light. This polish really looks like a gemstone. 

"Sapphire" de KleanColor es un esmalte de base azul oscuro con escarcha azul que se puede ver con la luz directa. Este esmalte se ve como una gema. 

Shade picture

Its consistance feels like a sandy nailpolish,thick body and its full opaque with only one coat. The first coat may be a little uneven but because its dark color can barely be seen so I recomend a second coat. 

Su consistencia se siente un poco arenosa al aplicar  y cubre con una sola capa. La primera puede ser algo dispareja pero por su oscuro color no se puede ver asi que recomiendo una segunda capa.

I really like how this look, is like having gemstones on the nails. The glitters look like they were floating. Here I wear 2 thin coats plus topcoat and a Royal accent nail.

Using striping tape that can be found at the local craft store ( it comes in different colors) and a stud from a local beauty supply store. 

En lo personal me gusta este look, es como tener verdaderas gemas en las uñas. Las escarchas como si estuvieran flotando. Aqui llevo 2 capas ligeras mas brillo protector y una uña de acento Royal. Usando striping tape que se puede encontrar en la tienda de manualides ( viene en diversos colores) y el stud de una tienda de cosmeticos.

Vogue Fantastic Efecto Tornasol " Tempestad "

" Tempestad " by Vogue Fantastic is a duo chrome polish. Its a purple shimmer base color that turns to green depending on its angle of view. It also has a hint of blue that can be seen in the bottle and also on the nails if you add little drops of water.

" Tempestad " de Vogue Fantastic es un esmate tornasol. Su color base es un purpura que cambia a verde dependiendo de su angulo de vista.  Tambien tiene un tono azul que se puede apreciar un poco en la botella y tambien en las uñas si se le agrega unas gotas de agua.

Cloudy day shot.

Its consistence is perfect.. Full opacity with 2 coats, is easy to apply, no brush strokes seen and blends perfectly. I simply love it.. Here i wear 3 thin coats plus topcoat. This color is really gorgeous.

Su concistencia es perfecta. Cubre la uña con 2 capas, facil de aplicar, no se ven marcas de la brocha y se mezcla perfecto. Yo estoy usando 3 capas ligueras mas brillo protector. Este color es realmente hermoso.

As chrome polishes, their tone can also change from light to dark. It also depends on the light that illuminate it. Whether is natural or artificial light and direct and indirect light.

The post seen is an indirect sunlight shot inside a lightbox.

Como los esmaltes tornasol, su tonalidad puede campiar de claro a oscuro dependiendo de la luz que lo ilumine. Ya sea luz natural o artificial y luz directa e indirecta.

Zipper Nails Inspired - Sun of a Peach by China Glaze

This design was inspired by my outfit. I have been waiting to do it since ever but I did not have the pastel neon peach color to match it. 

Este diseño esta inspirado en una blusa. He esperado hacerlo desde hace mucho pero no tenia el esmalte color durazno para combinar. 

These are 3 thin coats of "Sun of a Peach" by China Glaze. 

Aqui llevo 3 capas ligeras de "Sun of a Peach" de China Glaze. 

This design did not turned out as i spected. I think i still have some fails ... 

El diseño no me salio como esperaba. Pienso que aun tengo mis fallas.
