Mix And Match! Animal Print and Roses Nails, Collab with ChristabellNails

It was a great honor to work with a very talented lady this week Christabell Nails. 
She is making a monthly collab this year in which each month she chooses a random follower to do a Twin nails or Mani swap with her and this month of February I was the lucky one xD.

Fue un honor trabajar con una persona muy talentosa esta semana Christabell Nails.
Ella esta haciendo una colaboracion este año en el cual cada mes ella eligira un seguidor al azar para hacer un Twin nails (uñas gemelas) o un Mani swap (intercambio de mani). Y este mes de Febrero yo fui la elegida.

I came across with a very pretty animal print and floral pattern I saw on google, from Shutterstock.com  and she agreed to recreate it. 

Yo me habia encontrado un patron de animal print y rosas que vi en google, es de Shutterstock.com y ella estuvo de acuerdo en recrearlo.

For this look I used a lot of different nail polishes but lets start with our bases. 
This beautiful color is "Cereza" by Vogue Fantastic. Its a creamy cherry shade, it was very hard to capture its real color, but I got to accurate it a little. 2 easy coats plus topcoat. It's very smooth to apply, blends really good and dries fast. Topcoat for better results.

Para este look use muchos colores diferentes pero empezemos con las bases.
Este hermoso color es "Cereza" de Vogue Fantastic. Es un esmalte cremoso, fue algo dificil  capturar su color real, pero llegue a su tono lo mas posible. 2 sencillas capas mas topcoat. Es facil de aplicar con acabado liso y seca rapido. Topcoat para mejores resultados.

For my accents nails, the base color is "Porcelana" by Vogue Fantastic. It's a sheer nude base, here I used 3 thin coats, dries fast but doesn't have a smooth finish, after the third coat i can still see some brush strokes. But for this mani was not a problem since it was going to be covered. 

Para mis uñas de acento, el color base es "Porcelana" de Vogue Fantastic. Es un esmalte nude traslucido, aqui use 3 capas ligeras, seca rapido pero no tiene un acabado liso, despues de la tercera capa aun podia ver marcas de la broca. Pero para este diseño no seria problema ya iba a ser cubierto.

For the background leopard print I used "alpine snow" by O.P.I products.
For the animal print, I used a black nail polish "Circuit" by L.A. Colors Cosmetics and a very thin nail art brush. 
For the roses, I used 'Cereza' mixed with a white nail polish "Blanco Armiño" both by Vogue Fantastic. For the highlights I used the same white, and for the shades "In The Cable Car-Pool Lane" by O.P.I products. For the leaves "Pistacho" by Vogue Fantastic and a dark green by Esmaltes Darosa.
Topcoat "Super Shine" by Sally Hansen.


Para el leopard print de fondo use "alpine snow" de O.P.I products.
Para el animal print, use esmalte negro "Circuit" de L.A. Colors Cosmetics y una brocha de cerda muy delgada.
Para las rosas, use 'cereza' mezclado con 'blanco armiño' ambos de Vogue Fantastic. Para las luces use el mismo blanco, y para las sombras 'in the cable car-pool lane' de O.P.I products. Para las hojas use "Pistacho" de Vogue Fantastic y verde oscuro de Esmaltes Darosa.

I really like this topcoat, leaves my manis with a very smooth and shiny finish, drying time is from 10 to 15 min is great and no smudges, here in the picture above the is a very insignificant smudge because of the black spots but I only saw it in the close up, no big deal. If you are looking for a good quality topcoat I recomend this one. 

Me gusta mucho este topcoat, deja mis diseños con un acabado liso y brilloso, tiempo de secado es de 10 a 15 min muy bueno y no mancha, en la foto de arriba hay una ligera e insignificante mancha por los puntos negros pero solo la pude ver despues de acercar la foto, no es la gran cosa. Si buscan un topcoat de buena calidad les recomiendo este.

THE WRONG COLOR!!!

In this picture here, is how I usually take my pictures and as you can see the color is wrong! it looks more red than pink. So I had to change a few settings on my camera to accurate it. 

En esta foto, es como usualmente yo tomo mis fotografias y pueden ver que el color esta mal! parece mas rojo que rosado. Asi que tuve que cambiar algunos ajustes de mi camera para llegar al color real.

It was really nice to work with Christabell, she is so talented and an inspiration. I learned a lot watching her videos on youtube. Also she has a tutorial for this gorgeous manicure on her youtube channel Christabell Nails and also you can take a closer look how hers turned out, really gorgeous! Her work is simply amazing... 


Fue muy bueno poder trabajar con Christabell, ella es muy talentosa y una inspiracion. Yo misma aprendi mucho viendo sus videos en youtube. Tambien ella les tiene el tutorial en su canal Christabell Nails y tambien podran ver como le quedo su diseño, muy hermoso! Su trabajo es simplemente asombroso.
