Watermelon Nails - Ft Born Pretty Store

From all the fruits in this world.. I think that watermelon looks the cutest on the nails.. 
And since we are on the summer vibes.. 
What a better way to refresh our days and nails with a juicy and so yummy design..

De todas las frutas del mundo.. Creo que la sandia es la que mas cute se ve en las uñas.. 
Y ya que estamos en este espíritu del verano..
Que mejor forma de refrescar nuestros días y nuestras uñas con un diseño tan rico y jugoso..

The base color is "Frenesí" by Vogue Fantastic / Cosméticos Vogue. 
This was going to be a complete different mani, but since this color is the perfect red-ish pink shade.. Like literally this should be named "Watermelon" because is the exact same color.. That's what inspired this particular design.. 
Covers in 2 easy coats. 




El color base es "Frenesí" de Vogue Fantastic / Cosméticos Vogue. 
Esto iba a ser un manicure completamente diferente, pero ya que este color es el perfecto rojo rosado.. Literalmente este debió haberse llamado "Sandia" porque es exactamente el mismo color de la fruta.. Y eso fue lo que inspiro este diseño en particular.. 
Cubre con 2 capas.

On my middle nail and the french tip I used "Pistacho" also by Vogue Fantastic. 
And I love how these 2 colors match together. 
Covers in 2 coats. 




En la uña del medio y la punta de la francesita use "Pistacho" tambien de Vogue Fantastic. 
Me encanto como estos 2 colores combinaron a la perfección. 
Cubre con 2 capas. 

To help create this design, first I show you the items I used:

First, a very thin small brush.. 
It helps with small details and very thin short lines.. 
I used the brush to create the curved lines on the watermelon.. 
And also used to make the small seeds. 

The small palette you see in the picture is a ring palette. 
One of the cutest thing I have ever seen. 
This helps to hold the polish near to your nails while you create whatever design you're creating. 
As you can see I used to hold the dark green, the white and the black.
Easy can be cleaned with nail polish remover. 




Para ayudarme con el diseño, primero les muestro los materiales que use:

Primero el pincel pequeño y delgado.
Este ayuda con los detalles mas pequeños y lineas cortas y delgadas.. 
Lo use para pintar las lineas en la sandia..
Tambien para hacer las semillas. 

La paleta que ven en la foto es un anillo. 
Una de las cosas mas adorables que he visto. 
Esto ayuda a tener el esmalte cerca mientras creas el diseño que quieras..
Como pueden ver yo lo use para poner el esmalte verde, blanco y negro.
Fácilmente se limpia con removedor de esmalte. 

The ring is adjustable.. 
And let me tell you a secret, I would use this ring as an accessory and I am not kidding..
Is way too adooorable..

For the watermelon stripes I used "Christmas Gone Plaid" by OPI. 




Para las lineas de la sandia use "Christmas Gone Plaid" de OPI. 

To create the green tip, I used a french tip guide from Snail Vinyls
And for the details I used "Onix" (black) for the seeds and "Blanco Armiño" (white) for the, you already know... 



Para hacer la punta verde, use un 'french tip guide' de Snail Vinyls  Y para los detalles use "Onix" negro para las semillas y "Blanco Armiño" para la parte blanca, ya saben cual es...

To complement the look, I used some black studs that have the perfect shape to match my watermelon mani.. 
I got these from a local store a very long time ago and I believe is the first time I use it xD.. 




Para complementar el look, use estas piedritas negras que tienen esta forma que combina a la perfección con mis uñas de sandia..
Estas las compre en una tienda local hace un buen rato y creo que es la primera vez que las uso xD..

I am more than happy with this mani.. Is so simple, easy to do and looks so cute..
