Ahhh back to my favorite black base... But I don't know how to feel about these nails.

I'm pretty upset about my thumb, it ruins everything :/
Miss my long thumb nail, stupid nail why you had to break -_- 
And makes me feel like my manis are incomplete.

Taking a break of 'xmas ideas'..

I was waiting so long to do these nails.. I just did not want to make the classic red/orange fire, but I wanted to do a colored one. And I confess that I tried it once on one nail, but never finished it, so I decided to do it today.

The base color I used, which is so convenient for this design, is "All I Want For Christmas (is opi)" by OPI. 
Is a creamy dark red.
If you are wondering why my pictures show different colors it is because of the lightning. 

The picture on top (#1) shows how I usually take my pictures, makes the polish look a little bit lighter than it is.

The picture on bottom (#2), I changed a little my settings and the color looks a little bit darker than it is. 
So the right color is in between these 2..
And because I am not swatching this particular nailpolish, I don't mind showing the right color. 

Anyways, here I did 3 thin coats





El color base que use, lo cual es muy conveniente para este diseño, es "All I Want For Christmas (is opi)"
Es un rojo oscuro cremoso.
Si se preguntan porque mis fotos muestran 2 tonos diferentes es por la iluminacion.

La foto de arriba (#1) muestra como yo regularmente tomo mis fotos, lo cual hace que se muestre un poco mas claro de lo que es.

La foto de abajo (#2), cambie un poco los ajustes y el color se muestra un poco mas oscuro de lo que es.
Asi que el color correcto esta entre estos 2.
Y ya que yo no estoy revisando ningun esmalte aqui, no me importa mostrar el color correcto.

Como sea, este cubre con 3 capas ligeras.

On my accent nail... I used "As Gold As It Gets' by Essie.
I did one coat, sponged over the nail for extra flakies, and then did one more coat. 
The bell charm is from Daily Charme 

All the charms from the website have a curved back to fit the surface of the nail, which is great for my exaggerated curved nail xD.

Mi adorno de campana es de Daily Charme 
Todos los adornos de esta pagina tienen su parte trasera curvada para ajustarse a la curva de la uña, lo cual es genial para mis uñas exageradamente curvas xD.

Here was my first idea for this mani, but the flakies don't work very well with the vinyl.. 
So I had to change it.
Yes, I have my nail fails too.



Esta era mi primera idea para esta manicure, pero esta escarcha no funciona muy bien con los vinilos. Asi que los cambie.
Si, yo tambien tengo mis fallas.

Romantic Roses Nails + Born Pretty Store

So romantic, but just for today xD.. And it's not valentine yet haha..
Easy stamping roses nails



Muy romantico, pero solo por hoy xD.. Y aun no es san valentin haha..
Estampado de rosas muy facil. 

For today's look I decided to use this pretty pink "Rosa Viejo" (old pink) by Vogue Fantastic.
Is a creamy brownish pink shade.
Covers in 2 easy coats, it is super smooth and so easy to work with.




Para el look de hoy decidi usar este lindo color "Rosa Viejo" de Vogue Fantastic.
Es un esmalte rosa amarronado cremoso.
Cubre con 2 capitas, es muy suave y facil de trabajar.

To create the roses I used stamper and scraper set and a stamping plate all these 3 from Born Pretty Store 
The stamper is a XL squishy stamper of 4 cm diameter, it comes in 2 colors, clear or red, I chose the clear or white one as shown in the picture.
It comes with the plastic scraper.

I really loved this stamper, it's big enough to cover my entire nail, and I have big and long nails. And since my nails are so curved, its squishy surface allows to reach from side to side without pressing hard.

The plate I used is BP-73
And I just stamped the little rose on the corner since I wanted to try the reverse stamping technique. It was suppose to be an 'attempt' but I really liked how it turned out that I decided to finish this manicure.





Para crear las rosas use un set de estampa y un plato, todos 3 de Born Pretty Store 
La estampa es "XL Squishy Stamper" (o estampa XL blandita) de 4 cm de diametro, viene en 2 colores, blanco o rojo, yo elegi el blanco como muestra la foto.
El raspador de plastico viene en conjunto con la estampa.

Me gusto mucho esta estampa, es lo suficientemente grande para cubrir toda mi uña, y yo tengo uñas largas y grandes. Ya que mis uñas son muy curvas, su superficie blandita me ayuda a llegar de lado a lado sin tener que presionar fuerte.

El plato que use es BP-73
Solo use la rosa de la esquina ya que esto seria solo una prueba y me gusto asi que decidi terminar el manicure.

This is how I colored the rose.
Step one I painted the plate, used the scraper to remove the excess and transferred it to the stamper.
Before I put it on my nail, I colored it right on the stamper.
Some people add topcoat to it and then remove it from the stamper and stick it to the nail.
I just painted it, let dry a few minutes and rolled it over my nail.




Asi es como yo pinte la rosa.
Primero pinte el plato, quite el exceso de esmalte y lo transferi a la estampa.
Pero antes de ponerlo sobre la uña, lo coloree directo en la estampa.
Algunas personas le agregan topcoat, luego lo remueven y lo pegan sobre la uña.
Yo simplemente lo pinte, lo deje secar por unos minutos y lo aplique normalmente.
