Sexy Lace Nail Art.. + Born Pretty Store

I believe this is the first time I do matte nails with real matte topcoat.
So wanted to make this very elegant and super sexy... 




Creo que esta es la primera vez que hago unas uñas mate con un verdadero topcoat mate.
Asi que las hice muy elegantes y super sexy...

My base color is "Cereza" by Vogue Fantastic / Cosmeticos Vogue.
It's a creamy cherry shade.
This one can cover completely the nail in just 2 coats, but I like to work with thin layers and my nails are too long, so they need 3.
This polish is a little bit darker than it shows on picture but still look gorgeous.




Mi color base es "Cereza" de Vogue Fantastic / Cosmeticos Vogue.
Como lo dice su nombre es un esmalte cremoso en tono cereza.
Este puede cubrir completamente en tan solo 2 capas, pero a mi me gusta trabar con capas muy ligeras y mis uñas son algo largas asi que necesita 3.
Este esmalte se muestra un poco mas claro de lo que es, pero aun asi se ve hermoso.

For the lace I used this foil from Born Pretty Store 
This foil needs a special glue to be used. 
The white bottle shown in the picture above.
It applies white when it is wet but it dries completely clear. I used one thin coat.
It takes like 2 to 3 min to dry and it gets sticky, that's when I placed the lace foil.
Place the image over the sticky glue and remove the paper that the image in the foil gets transfered to the nail. 
It can be a little tricky when using it specially if it's the first time you use it.. like me.

The foil comes in that little bottle and the sheet measures 100 cm.
All you have to do is cut a little piece like shown above.

Para el encaje use este papelito de Born Pretty Store 
Este necesita un pegamento especial para poder usarse.
La botella blanca que se muestra en la foto de arriba.
Mientras se aplica se ve blanco pero seca completamente transparente. Yo use una capita delgada.
Le toma como 2 o 3 minutos para secar y se vuelve pegajoso, ahi es cuando se pega el papel.
Coloca el papel sobre el pegamento pegajoso y lo remueves, de esa forma el diseño se transfiere a la uña.
Puede ser algo complicado cuando lo usas especial si es la primera vez, como yo..

Este papel viene en esta pequeña botellita y mide 100 cm
Todo lo que tienes que hacer es cortar un pedacito como se muestra arriba.

The matte topcoat I used is by OPI.

My gorgeous charm is from Daily Charme 
This one I bought it a few months ago, but never had the chance to use it, so I thought it would look good to combine with the lace..
And I think I placed it wrong.. I guess the biggest stone should be placed the other side..
This charm is extremely huge.. haha LOVE IT
As all the charms from their website have a curved back to fit the natural curve of the nail.



Mi hermoso adorno es de Daily Charme 
Este lo compre unos meses atras, pero no tuve oportunidad de usarlo, asi que pense que se veria bien combinarlo con el encaje... 
Y creo que lo puse al revez.. Supongo que la piedra grande va hacia arriba.. 
Este adorno es extremadamente grande.. jaja ME ENCANTA 
Como todos los adornos de su pagina, este tiene su parte curva para que encaje con la curva natural de la uña

Tried a different way to capture the color..
And this way looks much darker than it is.
This is the kind of polish that looks in a different shade depending on the lightning.
Anyone has the same problem?? 
So I kept my usual way.




Intente una forma diferente de capturar el color..
Pero asi se ve mas oscuro de lo que es.
Este es el tipo de esmalte que se ve en diferentes todos dependiendo de la luz.
Alguien mas tiene el mismo problema?
Asi que decidi quedarme con lo usual.
