Pray for Syria.. Kids are not to blame!!

As long as I understand that the attack was for 'isis', there are innocent kids that had nothing to do with this shit.

I believe that war is NOT the solution for everything happening in this world.

Please always think about those little angels who are not guilty for anything happening there.

They are just kids.

They loose their parents, home, left with no food. 

And that makes me think that sometimes we are just so ungrateful.

We have a house, food, bed to sleep, a warm place to call home.

I saw parents crying the death of their children, holding their cold body. This was heartbreaking.

They cry, and I cry with them.

I do not have too much to say here.

But I did want to show some support and send my prayers for them.

The kids are the future, but since they are being killed what future will we have??

Reza por Siria... Los niños no tienen la culpa!

Por mas que uno entienda de que el ataque fue disparado a 'isis', hay niños inocentes que no tienen nada que ver con esta mierda.

Creo en la guerra no es la solucion para lo que sea que pase en este mundo.

Por favor siempre piensen en estos pequeños angelitos que no son culpables por nada de lo que pase alla.

Ellos pierden a sus padres, casa y sin comida.

Y eso me hace pensar que a veces solo somos algo malagradecidos. 

Tenemos casa, comida, una cama para dormir, un lugar al que le podemos llamar hogar.

Vi a padres llorar la muerte de sus hijos, cargando su cuerpo frio. Esto es de romper el corazon.

Ellos lloraban y yo lloraba con ellos.

No tengo mucho que decir aqui.

Pero si quise mostrar algo de apoyo y mis plegarias para ellos.

Los niños son el futuro, pero ya que ellos estan siendo asesinados que futuro tendremos?

El Terrorismo NO Tiene Religion! Rezo Por La PAZ!

Esto sera un poco diferente a lo que usualmente pongo.
Yo nunca muestro parte de mi vida en este blog por ser un blog solamente de uñas.
Y aun asi no creo que haya alguien interesado en lo que pienso.
Pero de todos modos lo hare!

Por lo ocurrido recientemente en Paris.

Yo estoy tan decepcionada de como la gente nos ve!

Fue una tragedia lo acontecido, mucha gente inocente murio en el ataque, pero vamos a poner esto en claro.
Fue un grupo de personas quien causo esto. 
NO toda la religion.
Y espero que ardan en el infierno o peor!

Existe una gran controversia cuando se habla de este asunto

Yo no me concidero, es mas, yo NO SOY EXPERTA en mi propia religion, pero se lo suficiente para decir que lo que ellos hicieron NO ES ISLAM! 
Solo son un grupo de fanaticos pensando que lo que ellos hacen esta bien cuando en realidad todos sabemos que no es asi.

Vamos a poner unos ejemplos:

**El chico que mato a no se cuantos en su escuela, Recuerdan esto? ok, nadie lo llama terrorista, le dicen "enfermo mental"

**Un grupo de monjes que quemaron vivos padres, madres y niños por ser musulmanes. Nunca escucharon de esto? Que mal..

**Que tal la vez que israel intercepto ese barco que llevaba ayuda humanitaria a Gaza?

**Hitler, que prácticamente extinguió a casi todos los judios.

**La primera guerra mundial

**Las bombas atomicas soltadas sobre Hiroshima en la segunda guerra mundial?

**Una persona que mata a otra para unirse a su pandilla?

**Aquellos que matan por drogas, porque no les son de utilidad?

**El que mata por dinero

**Secuestro, asesinatos, torturas, masacres, etc..

Que todos estos no son actos de terrorismo?
Entonces porque solo los 'musulmanes' son llamados asi?

Para aquellos que no entiendan una mierda sobre mi religion, porfavor no nos apunten con el dedo y digan que el Islam es esto porque no lo es!

Hay un versículo en el Sagrado Koran el cual no recuerdo en que Sura esta o como esta perfectamente escrito pero si recuerdo esto:
"Quien mate a una persona inocente, es como si hubiese matado a toda la humanidad"

Adelante, saquen conclusiones!

El Islam promueve el respeto religioso y la paz social.
Y ademas, es una de las religiones con mayor crecimiento en el mundo.
Entonces, porque habria gente que se uniria si esta promoviera la guerra?? Raro verdad?
Ellos se unen porque el Islam es Real, El Islam es PAZ!

Y luego vienen un grupo de gente y se llaman a si mismos supuestos 'musulmanes' y hacen estos atentados en el nombre del Islam cuando en realidad esta gente ignorante no sabe ni mierda sobre esta!
Ellos simplemente lo arruinan y nos hacen ver a todos como si fuéramos como ellos.
Pero NO LO SOMOS!

Las noticias solo muestra lo que la gente quiere ver o lo que les parezca conveniente para la audiencia..
Pero han visto cuanta gente muere  en Siria todos los dias? niños, madres, padres... toda gente inocente?
Han visto?
No creo que los noticieros muestren esto todos los dias.
Si tienen estomago suficiente, porque no usan google y buscan 'guerra en Siria'
Saben, Libano siempre a tenido este tipo de ataques y hasta ahora que se dan cuenta?
Y ahora que lo saben, nadie le da importancia...

Entonces porque solo Paris?
Vi a mucha gente dando apoyo y mandando sus plegarias, no digo que no lo hagan, por el contrario, me parece un gesto hermoso de ver la gente como se apoya.
Pero no veo a nadie haciendo esto por Siria, Palestina, Iran, Libano o cualquier país arabe.
Todos los dias muere gente debido a estos ataques, TODOS LOS DIAS!
Pero como es Paris, ok vamos hacer de esto la gran vaina!
Ya comprenden mi punto??

Mucha gente dice que los Musulmanes son terroristas cuando matan a aquellos que no siguen la misma religion.. Pero que pasa cuando estos mismos 'musulmanes' o asi dicen llamarse matan a otros musulmanes.. Piensenlo.. Porque matarian a su propia gente??

A mi no me gusta ver las noticias por una razon en particular.
Era el verano de 2006
Guerra entre Libano e israel por aproximadamente un mes o mas.
Yo misma estuve ahi.
Mis hermanas, mi mama y yo.
Quedamos el mes entero solo viendo las noticias.
Las bombas caian justo en el pueblo vecino, a 15 min en carro solamente.
Soliamos dormir en la noche rogando por un mañana.
Lo unico que escuchabamos y sentiamos era el suelo temblar seguido por un 'boom'.
Cuando escuchabamos eso aviones volando sobre nuestras cabezas ya sabiamos que por ahi venia una bomba.

Nosotros tambien somos victimas.

Estuve en el Libano unos meses atras, no saben el miedo que tenia de salir de casa.
Cada que otro dia en las noticias, una bomba por aqui y alla...
Y ni hablar de lo que los noticieros mostraban.
Todo sobre Siria, niños, madres que veian a sus hijos morir y todo lo que tenian para aferrarse era una pregaria. No mas!
Y aun asi me preguntaba como es que permitian estas imagenes en la tv.
Eran devastadoras.


La persona que hizo el comentario de arriba tiene un buen punto.
Solo porque ven a un grupo de personas entonces ya enloquecen y empiezan a culpar toda la religion por algo que ESE GRUPO hizo.
No se porque lo hacen pero yo les aseguro que estos actos de terrorismo no es Islam.

Terrorism Has NO Religion! Pray For PEACE..

This will be something different than I usual post.
I never, never share part of my life in this blog or anything because this is a nail blog related and I don't think someone would be interested in my thoughts .. 
But even though there is something I want to share:

Due to the recent event in Paris... 

I am very but very disappointed with how people picture us.

It is a tragedy, many innocent people died in that fatal attack. But please let make this point clear 
It was a group of people who did this! not the entire Religion.
And I wish they burn in hell!! or even worse! 

There is a huge controversy when coming to this particular issue. 

I don't consider, in fact, I AM NOT AN EXPERT in my own religion but I know enough to know that what these people do is NOT Islam. 
They are just fanatics thinking that what they are doing is right but we all know that is not! 

Lets put an easy example:

**That kid who killed I don't know how many in his school. Remember this? Ok, so no one call him a terrorist, he is called  'mentally ill'

**There was a group of monks who burned alive men, women and kids just because they were Muslims.. Never heard of it? How bad!
Why aren't these 'monks' called terrorists as well? Why?? 

**And how about that day when israel intercepted that ship that contained humanitarian aid for the people in Gaza? 

**Hitler, who vanished almost all jewish from existence

**The World War I

**The atomic bomb, released on Hiroshima in WWII

**A person who kills another one to join a gang

**Those who kills for drugs, because they are not useful anymore 

**Those who kills for money

**Kidnap, torture, hit, massacre, shoot, etc ... 

So.. Aren't these all acts of terrorism??
Then why only 'muslims' are called like that?

For those who do not understand a shit about my religion, please don't point your fingers and say that Islam is this because is not!.

"Whoever kills a person, is like he killed all mankind. Whoever saves a life, is like he saved all mankind" Q. 5:32

Islam promotes religious respect in the world and social peace.
By the way, Islam is one of the largest religion in growth..
Then why they would like to join if it promoted war?? Isn't it weird.
They join because Islam is real, Islam is PEACE!

But then comes a group of people calling themselves 'muslims' and do this attack in the name of islam, when they clearly don't know a shit about it.
They just ruin the name 'Islam' and make us all look like if we were like them. 
But WE ARE NOT!

But have you seen how many people die in Syria every day? kids, mothers, fathers... All innocent people? Have you? I don't think the news shows this every single day.
If you have stomach, go ahead and google 'war in Syria' 
You know, Lebanon always had these kind of attacks, but you never noticed until today.
And now that you know, no one gives a fuck!

Why only Paris then?? 
I saw everyone supporting and sending prayers to them
I am not saying that they should not, to the contrary, I find this really great to see people  supporting each others. 
But I don't see anyone doing this for Syria or Palestine, Iran  or any other Arabic Country.
Everyday hundred of people die due to this attacks EVERY DAY..
But since it's Paris ok, let's make a big deal of it!
Get my point??

A lot of people say that all Muslims are terrorist when they kill those who do not follow the same religion.. But what happens when these same "Muslims" people or so they say they are, kill other Muslims as well.. Think of it. Why would they kill their own people? How weird ..

I am not taking any sides but I'm just pretty much sick of muslims that is to blame for all these doings. Sad to say we muslims are used to this. We've been blamed for these things , they may call themselves 'muslims' but as muslim myself, I can assure you muslims don't do that. So therefore, they aren't muslims by heart.
Terrorists can be any ethnicity and any religion. Muslims ARE NOT the face of terrorism. Muslims AREN'T A THREAT, terrorists are. Before you blame muslims or islam for the crime of 'isis' in Paris, remember that 'isis' has killed more than 100,000 muslims in the past 2 years and yes I agree, fuck 'isis' ""

It was summer 2006,
War between israel and Lebanon for approximately one month or more.
I 'myself' yes, I was there.
My sisters, my mom and I.
Bombs were hit in the neighboring village, only 15 min in car. 
We used to sleep at night just begging for a tomorrow. 
All we hear and feel the earth trembling followed by a 'boom' sound. When we hear the airplanes flying over our heads we knew there was bomb coming. 

We are also victims.. 

(August / September 2015) I was in Lebanon, you have no idea how afraid I was to go out home, each other day in the news, a bomb here and a bomb there.. WTF!
Not even saying the news..
All about Syria, kids, mother watching their kids dying and all they have to hold on was a pray.. nothing else..
I even wonder how these strong images were allowed to be on TV..
It was devastating. 


The person of the comment above have an amazing point
just because you saw a group of person then you all start to freak out blaming the entire religion of something just THAT GROUP of people did.
I don't know why they do it but all I can assure is that these acts of terrorism is not Islam.
IS NOT! 

I am muslim too so would you blame me for something they did?
Why? I did NOT do it.. They did..

Let's say that a person killed 2 other people and his religion was catholic or any other religion, it does not matter, (it is just an example), so can we say that all catholics are murderers? 
NO!!! WE CAN'T! 


I see people supporting the gays right because they are humans too. you respect their ideal, and in what they believe and so on..

And we muslims have our guide, we follow in what we believe, then why you have to judge us? Aren't we humans as well?
I respect every person, religion, because at the end of the day is their life..
why you can't respect mine?


My husband is muslim, he has a lot of christians, jewish, hindu friends and many others, and we all live in peace..
We respect each other, because this is how it is suppose to be.


We are responsible to feed the poor and help the orphans. Does this sounds cruel to you??

I am not here to explain about my religion and my believes, I just wanted to make this as good as my brain can and as clear as my words can explain.

And I am sure there are hundreds of points that I am missing...
But for now this is it

I am Muslim and these terrorists DO NOT represent me, these fanatics and cowards use the religion to kill innocent people. And remember that they have killed thousands of all races.

Terrorism has NO place in Islam.

Islam is innocent of the crimes committed in Its name.
Followed by the shout of "Allahu Akbar", when this is so so far away from Islam and its orders.
whether committed by muslims or people PRETENDING to be muslims just to tarnish the image of Islam.

Dried Brush + Hibiscus

Easy hibiscus nail design.
Dried brush and flowers, I love this combo, always a classic look so pretty.



Flor de hibisco.
Brocha seca y flores, me encanta esta combinacion, siempre un clasico y se ve muy bien.

The base color I used for this design is "You're Such A BudaPest" by OPI.
It is a light purple bluish grey polish, it is more purple than it shows on camera, here looks more to the blue side..The right name of this is "Periwinkle" 
It has a very slight shimmer to it and very hard to capture.
I really liked this shade but the formula is not the best.
Too sheer on the first coat and needs at least 3 coats for full opacity.




El color base que use es "You're Such A BudaPest" de OPI.
Es un color morado claro con un tono azul grisaceo, es mas morado de lo que se muestra en camera, aqui se ve un poco mas hacia el azul.. El nombre correcto para este color seria "Bigaro".
Tiene una escarcha que es muy dificil de capturar.
Me gusto mucho este color, pero su formula no es la mejor.
Es muy transparente y necesita como minimo 3 capas para cubrir la uña.

To create the dried brush effect I used "Urban-Night" by China Glaze.
Its a deep creamy purple shade. It is sooooo gorgeous, I looove this kind of color.
How to do this:
First step is to have the base color completely dried.
Then wipe off the excess of polish from the brush, just remove it with the neck of the bottle or on a piece of paper, and then gently paint the nail not pressing too hard over it.
I did horizontal and vertical but you can go in any direction.





Para crear el efecto de brocha seca use "Urban-Night" de China Glaze.
Es un esmalte morado oscuro. Me encaaanta este tipo de color.
Como hacerlo:
Primero empiezas con tu color base completamente seco.
Luego quitas el exceso de esmalte de la brocha, solo lo limpias con el cuello de la botella o sobre un pedazo de papel, luego pintas sobre la uña sin presionar muy fuerte.
Yo lo hize vertical y horizontal pero tu puedes hacerlo en la direccion que gustes.

For the hibiscus I used some stencils from Snail Vinyls
This one I did a little bit different than usual.
Since this stencil has 3 parts and none of them are connected I worked in a different way, even though it will seem a little hard or complicated, it is very easy once you get used to it.

First I took the stencil and placed it over the nail. (pictures 1 and 2)
Then I removed the middle part which is the flower shape. (picture 3)
Then I painted with white polish over the stencil (picture 4)
After that I removed the stencil (picture 5)
Let everything dry and apply topcoat (picture 6)



Para las flores de hibisco use estenciles de Snail Vinyls 
Este lo use algo diferente de lo usual.
Ya que este estencil tiene 3 partes y no estan conectadas entre ellas, trabaje un poco diferente, aunque parezca dificil o complicado, es facil una vez que te acostumbras.

Primero tome el estencil y lo pegue sobre la uña (foto 1 y 2)
Luego removi la parte del medio (foto 3)
Pinte con esmalte blanco sobre el estencil (foto 4)
Luego de eso lo removi (foto 5)
Deje todo secar y aplique mi topcoat (foto 6).

HOW TO HAVE BETTER RESULTS:
**When placing the vinyl over the nail make sure you have a complete dried base.
Make sure you use a topcoat this is very important and you will notice the difference.
Approximately wait 15 or 20 min. 
** After you paint over the vinyl or stencil, it should be removed right away. The faster you work, the better results you will have.



COMO TENER MEJORES RESULTADOS:
**Cuando colocas el vinilo sobre la uña, asegurate que el color base este completamente seco. Usa una capa de topcoat esto es muy importante y asi notaras la diferencia.
Espera de 15 a 20 min aproximadamente.
**Despues de que pintes sobre el vinilo, remuevelo de inmediato. Mientras mas rapido trabajes mejor sera el resultado.

Everyhting was sealed with my favorite topcoat "Super Shine" by Sally Hansen.

But just for this post. There are certain polishes that just don't show the right color on camera or at least the way I take pictures, so I had to change that for color accuracy. 

Heart Swirl Nails

To be honest, I have no idea what to think about these nails...
I have a like and dislike about them.




Para ser honesta, no tengo ni idea de que pensar sobre estas uñas...
Me gustan y no me gustan.

The base color I used is this multi chrome polish by Flormar.
It is a sheer black base with shifting colors flakies, it shifts from blue to teal, purple and a hint of gold but very hard to capture. 
this is almost one coater, but depends on how thick you apply your coat.




El color base que use es este esmalte 'multi chrome' de Flormar. 
Su color base es un negro semi transparente con escarcha que cambia de azul, a verde-azul, morado y un toque de dorado el cual fue dificil de capturar.
Este es casi de una sola capa, dependiendo de que tan grueso apliquen esa capa.

I like the negative space..
But I think this mani is too simple.
I tried it over black first but turned out a complete mess. 
And I had a hard time trying to photograph these nails, for some reason it was all wrong.
Some where blurry, other had a flash of light over the nail (like a very bad photo), others did not even show the design as it should.. 



Me gusta el espacio negativo..
Pero creo que sigue siendo muy simple.
Trate sobre negro al principio pero resulto todo un desastre.
Y tuve un mal momento tratando de fotografiar estas uñas, por alguna razon todo salio mal.
Algunas estuvieron borrosas, otras con destello de flash (como una muy mala foto), otras no mostraban el diseño como debia.

And look at this....
Ok, this is too much... A lot.. 
So yes, I do have my fails and not all the times my manis turn as I expect.



Y miren esto..
Ok, esto es demasiado... Exagerado. 
Asi que si, yo tambien tengo mis fallas y todos mis diseños salen como yo planeo.
